Khatereh Frouzan is a Canadian-based artist originally from Iran, with over two decades of experience in drawing and painting. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Fine Art and has been dedicated to both her personal studio practice and teaching art for more than ten years. Rooted in realism, her work spans oil, watercolor, acrylic, charcoal, and pencil with a special emphasis on monochrome portraiture. Khatereh  is particularly drawn to the expressive depth of the human face, especially women's portraits rendered in charcoal and graphite. Her color works often explore florals and still life, blending quiet composition with emotional clarity. Now based in Canada, she continues to develop a sensitive, minimalist visual language that reflects both technical mastery and intimate observation. Her work invites stillness, memory, and emotional presence.
